Joanna qualified in three competitions to compete at the All-Ireland Fleadh Cheoil!

In a whirlwind of a weekend, Joanna qualified to compete at the 2022 All-Ireland Fleadh Cheoil in all three of her competitions, senior fiddle (2nd place), senior fiddle slow airs (1st place), and newly composed tunes (2nd place). Here, Joanna is pictured with her friend and colleague, Andrew Caden, who also qualified for the senior fiddle (1st place) and senior fiddle slow airs (2nd place) competitions.

This year marks Joanna's 9th year qualifying for the All-Ireland Fleadh Cheoil and the 4th time she has won the fiddle slow airs competition at the Mid-Atlantic Fleadh Cheoil in her respective age category. In addition, Joanna was awarded runner up for the senior fiddle slow airs championship at the 2021 FleadhFest in Sligo, which was held in lieu of the All-Ireland Fleadh Cheoil.
